when i had the whole exhaust off i still didnt get a cel and i drove it like that for more than 100 miles and then the car put its self a 3500rpm rev limiter when hitting throttle 2/3 of the way which went away after one day and then a cel came on...now that the test pipe is in the cel is gone... i should have more than 100 miles in a couple days so ill let u know if a cel comes on...

btw i dont have space to put any kind of adaptor or anything... the bolt is touching the pipe its self... ill post a pic when i find my camera...the only way to do it is with a wrench holding the bolt vertically which gives me no leverage and will take about 1 week...

The only complaints about test pipes Ive seen is from ATP's about getting that nut on the inside stud closest to the manifold/stripping it, etc. I would have gone with an Ebay test pipe had i known about it before and probably would not have had that problem. No I dont have a link.

You didnt say what year you have... But if its a 2000+, youll probably learn to live with the occasional CEL unless your ecu has a TP program regardless of non foulers. AEB engines arent as ****, and can normally be fixed with a non fouler. There is a huge thread log on audiworld.com about who has what year/engine code with a test pipe and what combination of non foulers they used and to what success.

I used a long socket extention with the head of the wrench being basically against the firewall. It was the only way to get a straight angle on it. I tried using a couple U joints w/socket and there was just too much flex in the U joints to get any tq. on the nut. Ill take a pic of what I mean if you cant visualize what Im sayin.
