test pipe or downpipe?

That is either old news or new news. The milltek "cat back" exhaust sold for the B5 fwd for the last couple years has not included a DP. It looks exactly like the pic of it in my sig. It just conncects to end of the stock DP. Mine is also 2.75", not 2.5". So I dunno about that. All I know is that I have the most recent version of it as of 10/06 and it didnt come with a DP.

doubt you will notice any gains from a new dp. maybe a hp or two. a test pipe gives the follwing gains- http://www.ecodetuning.com/gallery/i...s/b7a4testpipe

^^those numbers are from ATP. which has been know to sckew their dyno numbers ever so often. or leave out bits of info..

basically you're only going to notice those type of gains on a GTRS or larger turbo
