Default Test Pipe Help

Ok so i bought a TP about a week agao and tried installing it last weekend. Let me tell you, it is a ****ing *****. I searched like crazy and found nothing but, yeah TP install is a pain in the ****. Does anyone know how to actually do it? I see all the people that say they love their test pipe, i want to bea contributer to the big Ozone hole(just kidding), but i do want to feel the so called 40ish torque gains? So i dont want to hear how hard it is, i already know that. I just need a good DIY or something, or some good advise besides i need alot of time and patience. TIA!

thats the only one i found and what i used to install mine. the cat/dp bolts are the worst part, use lots of pb blaster. i got them from underneath the car with a 10" extension with a flex joint on the end. took hours tho

remember, on the cat>downpipe flange, the top nut is welded on. so you need to come at it from the bottom..

when i did mine it just took a few extensions on each end. my buddy would hold the nuts from the top. and i would ratchet them out from the bottom. once we figured out a good system it didn't take too much time at all

It's just unbolting the cat and replacing it with the test pipe. The bolts are just hard to get go, that's it. It's not brain surgery. To get to the rear bolts it's easiest to remove the wheel and take the well liner out so you can get at them. just get lots of different extensions so you can get lots of angles on each bolt. Get some pb blaster to loosed the bolts. It's just about how small you can make your hands to get to the bolts.

id spray everything in PBblaster and let it soak awhile, like others have said, the cat/DP bolts go from under with a long ext and a flex head might help too... i would retighten everything after a few days if u can

its no fun, but finding a mechanic to install an illegal part is tough!
