How bad does a test pipe make the exhaust smell like?

I know the testpipe make the stock exhaust louder. Is it too loud that will make attention to police?
I am planning to stay with stock exhaust if I get test pipe.

the muffler is what makes it loud if you go with a conservative resinator and muffler a test-pipe will be fine.. I never got any smell with my test-pipe and i used a few different resinators b4 the muffler untill i got the sound i wanted..

 

What are some of the disadvantages of using testpipe? beside not passing emission and street illegal

 

who said you cant pass emissions? you can still pass the ob2 test just not a sniff test, but they dont use those anymore... the car smokes a bit more, thats the only downside i saw.. and its only not street legal if a cop looks under your hood and can tell the difference between a cat and a test pipe

What happen if a cop found out I have testpipe? a $40 fixing ticket ?

 

if a cop ever looks under your hood ill pay the ticket.. it wont happen.. maybe in a loud **** mustang.. that seams like a good deal to me, there is a DIY haning around for a o2 sensor cel fix.. so you wont through a code and fail emissions.. its easy i did it and passed just fine

APR Stage II software will let the ECU beware of the testpipe and to provide even more boost accordingly.

So, I guess that's very good. Will make a appointment with ecodeturning as soon as they open for testpipe... can't wait!!!
I've been hesitating to get testpipe, becuz of the downside.

 

i dont see any dowside.. it helps with lag, i noticed a big difference when i did mine, made everything a bit louder but you can do things to take care of that..
