test pipe, smell?

+1, just buy a resinator to muffle the loud sound if you dont like it.. its not a huge difference atleast i didnt think it was..

hehe... I wanna make it not loud, so I am staying with stock exhaust.

It's not really that loud, if you want more info on test pipes, PM evoic. He has one in his B7, or try to make it to the next GTG in Irvine, you'll find a lot of info from the other peeps

thats what i was going to say but what ever.. the stock exhaust is gay.. if you want quiet go with the Milteck with the resinator, it sounds stock to me. thats what i have and its to quiet

yeah wont the stock exhaust defeat the purpose of the test pipe?

not really your still going to be less retrictive because there will be no cat, and it will still spool up faster becasue it wont be right after the turbo, but its not going to make a huge of a difference as when you have a nice catback installed..

you might want to find out if the test pipe will even hook up to the stock down pipe, stock is only what 2.25? its small might not work..

Most people say testpipe or exhaust, but not both unless with a K04. Since there is no K04 for B7 yet, I'll got with testpipe only and save $$.

im sorry to inturupt, but im in NY and if i were to do the apr turbo kit and replace the cat with a testpipe, would my car pass inspection?
