probably not going to pass a emissions test with a tp. Just because there is not cel doesnt mean there is no code

probly 10-15hp on a chipped car. to get no CEL- https://www.audiforums.com/m_732015/tm.htm
thats so funny how others firmly believe and even have dyno's to show zero hp/torque increase but i too believe the lack of the heavy, restrictive stock cat has got to help, especially on a chipped car....

also i had the non foulers then CNC angle block from wayne on vortex and i still got the CEL from time to time.... it would come on and go back off randomly..... now i have the APR tp file so no more CEL!

also others havent noted, you will smell more fuel from your exhaust, my fiancee complains of it but i dont mind... my kitty cat always enjoys getting high on exhaust fumes in the morning!

here is a link with some dyno's as well for test pipe vs stock cat... we had a pretty long discussion about on the zine as well

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=182964

i still believe it gains a few hp and lowers EGTs as well as allowing the car to cool down quicker

lol thats crazy. but did the k04 guy already have an exhaust? i guarantee most companies dyno's like ecode, were done on a chipped setup (possibly BT) with stock exhaust. but even with his zero gains, his curve's do look slightly better.

you know, im not sure... i might PM him and ask... i just dont see how its possibly to remove that much restriction and not make at least 5hp to the wheels... i know with my neuspeed and exhaust and test pipe, i felt a noticeable difference but u know how those butt dynos are...

on the 2.0t test pipe ecode claims 19 peak hp and 39 peak ft lbs increase and they have the dyno to support it... just with a TP and stock exhaust
