Is there a dash kit for a 2001 a4 with the bose option. How do i fill in that big hole when you take out the oem bose.? i Want to install a alpine head. ?

 

Usually there is a dash kit that gives you the slot for the stereo and a little pocket shelf where you can put things like a cell phone or change. Do a search. Someone just had a thread like this earlier today and someone pointed them to cardomain.com. I think the package was like $40 or something. I'm sure you can get it for cheaper.... Good luck.

 

I saw that one its wierd though becuase the years says from 2000-2005 ISnt the 2001 diff from 2002 consle?

2001 is the same as 2002, i think -- as far as the head unit is concerned.

 

I used a metra kit and it looks like it is stock... same color and texture as stock dash.
about 44 bucks

Dude...dont just keep the extra din space enpty...put one of these in ...i want one soo bad..just dont have whough things to hook up to it....Universal din link at top put some switches and a push start..it'd be awesome...!!!!
