does anyone know how to get the stock stereo out of the s4?

 

You need the little keys, that look like small knife blades. 4 of them, two on the top, 2 on the bottom. The keys will "lock" in and then you just pull evenly.
Do a search on Ebay for "Audi Stereo Tool" and you'll see plenty of them for less that $5 a set.
