I need to change my thermostat out and I was wondering if I have to remove the front bumper to change it or can I get to it with out taking the bumper off..
Yes, this is my first Audi and it is a 97' A4 2.8 12v Quattro

i'm not 100% sure but i believe you're going to have to remove your bumper...how many miles are on your car and when was the last timing belt change?

 

I think it is possible to do it without removing the bumper, but for the sake of sanity I would remove it. It only takes 10 minutes to remove it.
