Default Are these headlights any good?

I know the majority of you guys refuse to buy headlights off ebay but I dont feel like spending over 200 and I am going to get an HID kit as well, another 55. The seller said they do accept Hid kits. Ofcourse I dont want them to fog up like cheap headlights do. So what do you think? also what kind bulb do you think would be best for my black on black a4? Thanks

They WILL fog up unless you add a good line of sealant. Did the seller say "accept" HID kits? Because that would make me nervous...just because you can fit the bulb in there doesn't mean it won't melt the housing or have a horrible beam pattern. I don't care for halos, but it's personal preference. I'm not sure what you mean by what kind of bulb...only one style of bulb will fit. If you mean what color temperature, I recommend 4300K. It's what is used in all factory HID systems and produces more light than higher temperatures.

My rule of thumb in regards to ebay. You get what you pay for.

+1 unless its a respectable company, then you might find a few deals on some parts.

Not to mention, those arent DOT certified and if the guy in your inpection station is paying attention, you won't pass. No one seems to remember that you are required to have reflectors

Get what you like but know that most of the headlights on ebay are worthless.

man i had those headlights and they didnt fog up or anything. i didnt do any sealing or anything. I dont like when people talk about how they fog up when they have had no personal experience.

The headlights looked ok on my car but now that i have the OEM Valeo Xenon HID's I would never go back.
