done mine yesterday for the first time pritty awkward but more time consuming than anything else after i gave it a good spraying with carb cleaner i noticed it wasnt clearing some of the grimier bits of so i put some cleaner on a piece of cloth with 1 finger gently cleaned the inside open the butterfly valve manually with the finger you are cleaning with and clean behind and around. spray-clean-spray -clean-spray cleandefinetly a job for a person with small hands. now i have no more eratic ideling and the car feels a lot more responsive.i was able to do this repair which wouid have cost over 100 pounds at a garage .thanks to the people of this site i was able to do it by myself. its nice to see people helping each other out and saving each other a few quid . Hell ya man.. There is no reason to not buy an audi for fear of maintnence thanks to this site and others like it.
Some people dont like to get dirty or take 10 minutes to stare at the engine and try to figure things out for themselves. If taking the throtle body hose off is complicated for you, you should buy a generalautomobile maintnence book or$15Haynes repair manualto learn the basics.
