Default Throttle Body?

Okay so my husbanddoes most of the work on my Audi A4, but I have decided to post an issue we are having with my car to see if I can give him some additional info to work with.
The check engine light has been coming on time and time again, we replaced the spark ignitors (the pieces under the coil packs and cleaned the coil packs), we put in a new MAF sensor and still the check engine light comes on. We took it to our mechanic (Streamline Industries in Salt Lake City - good guys) and they said that the throttle body is not functioning at its fullest. Does this mean that the throttle body needs replaced?? My husband has cleaned it and still no luck. I am getting ready to sell it and want to fix this issue before the sale. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance, and I apoligize if the way I described the issue we are having in a unclear way. Just ask me questions if need be.

Default RE: Throttle Body?

So no one is replying to my message.....I did some reading on cleaning the throttle body and I guess I am wondering if my husband didn't clean it "good enough"??? I don't want to have to buy a new TB, and want to try a few other things first. My car is a 1999 with 116k miles.
ANY HELP???
Thanks

Thanks - I will have the shop read the codes, and then post them. I think my husband had that done, but he is out of town and I can't remember what they were.

A word of advice - don't bump your posting if nobody replies in 15 minutes... some replies take days. If your car is drive by wire then you might need to adjust the throttle body.
