Tick tick tick tick
While idleling I noticed that the motor makes a small tick tick tick, like I would think the oil is low, but I checked the levels and all is well. It seems to run fine, good power, and there are no warning lights. Is this a problem or anything? Its a 99A4 1.8T.
I plan on posting pics this weekend. Thanks in advance

The EVAP purge valve right above the airbox towards the firewall will sometimes tick. It is connected to a Y piece of tubing that goes to some of the in-line check valves. Mine does it every once in a while. But the lifters would be a lot louder and normally goes away, after the car warms up and it would come from right where the engine is.
yes a lot of people think there is a problem when it is just there purdge valve we see this all the time
