Default Time for new brakes... suggestions?

Hey guys new to the forum... It's time to replace the brakes on my '99 1.8T quattro.

I'm gonna need rotors and pads, I'm looking for a nice blend of performance/price, while leaning more towards a lower price than higher performance.

Any tips/suggestions as what to get would be much appreciated.

I got a pair of big brakes from ECS tuning... I went with the stage 2 setup so it won't wear out my control arms under greater stopping power. Its' the set with the ECS rotors and the Porsche brakes w/braded lines ... They are a great addition and it makes the car feel more like a go-cart

Not sure which big brakes you got (there are a lot of kits, ranging from mild to wild, that are called that), but if budget is the most important part, go with the A8 upgrade from ECS Tuning. Hard to beat for the price.
