Do I absolutely need to buy a new tensioner timing belt? or should I just get the plain belt from the dealership? Also, if i get it from the dealership is it the whole kit or just the belt? Thanks g's

why buy it from the dealership? Get it from ECS tuning, they offer a complete kit. And yes, you should replace it all. You're only as strong as yourweekestlink.

Yeah the dealer will bend you over and rape you....they dont use vasaline either

Also the dealer should have the upgraded tensioner the reason they upgraded it is because the old style self destructs takin your head with it

the belt is not what fails anyway. Its the tensioner that fails, lets the belt slip or shreds it. Change the tensioner.
