CHANGE IT ASAP.
Mine tensioner broke about 2 weeks ago. I was VERY lucky it did not damage the engine. Mine broke at 85,000 miles. I was getting ready to to the T belt, and just hadn't got to it yet. Now I had to do it.
I feel much better now that its done. Definitely do it as soon as you can. The newer style tensioner can probably go 90k, but dont chance it on the original one.
