Timing Belts-Beware
I just did my timing belt, started with a serpentine belt and decided since i was that far into the engine compartment I would go all out and do timing belt. Previous to this I was getting an engine code for Timing Over-Retard (P0012 I believe), and just finished the job, including plugs in under 4 hours in my parking lot in front of my barracks. After completing this job, my car does 0-40 in less than 40 meters... everything stock besides a free-flowing exhaust, K&N air filter, and a GodSpeed FMIC. Apparently having an old timing belt can allow for stretching, therefore making your timing go off and I guess making the car sluggish. I would highly suggest changing your timing belt after about 120k miles... just did mine at 138k and it did wonders... here comes some speeding tickets
