any one have any information on tinting windows for Audi's? Where to buy? What color? What to use? I am interested in tinting my car, but have no clue where to start....

I know some of you know a lot about this...thanks in advance.

It can be quit frustrating and if you've never done it before then leave it to the pro's. Fairly flat windows are not that bad but curved window's are a bia. (rear windows)

Dont buy cheap tint, get a blow dryer (helps get the bubbles out and fit) & a nice sqeegy/spray bottle. good luck to you

You should do a search for tinting there are a plethora of threads about it.

just leave it to the pros.... its not worth the hassle, esepcaiily to an un-experienced hand

i also agree on leaving it to the pros.. mines getting tinted 20% tomorrow!!! we bought some of the top o f the line 3M film to use

Having it professionally done can cost anywhere from $250-$600. I just got top of the line tint put on for $250 because I knew the owner of the shop. Call around to different shops and find out who is the best tinter in your area.

Percentages are in regard to how much light comes into your car. Stahly22 is getting 20% which means that only 20% of visible light will pass through his windows into his car. In other words he will have some dark tint on his windows.

Thanks for the info. That almost seems to expensive for what you get out of it..just my personal opinion.
