Tinting Questions
So for Christmas my parents promised to pay for my tint and I was thinking about getting it done soon but was wondering if there are any problems in getting the tint done in colder weather? Normally its low to mid 30s at night and 40-50 in the day here so it doesn't get really super cold but I'm not sure if it still is a problem. My car does sit outside all day and night too. I figure the curing time will be extended but should I wait until March/April when its warmer out?
I am also wondering what kind of pricing most people are paying for their tint? I plan on going with a higher end quality tint and it being 35% all around.

RE: Tinting Questions
Dude get the money from your parents and go do it your self for $30 and take the rest of the money and buy some other stuff. But if you have to get it done by a "professional" then i dont really think it maters when you do it but i would ask them before you do it. I have 35%in the front and 15% in the back. Tell me how it goes.
P.S just look at my sig that what the 35 and 15 look like

RE: Tinting Questions
My tint was professionally done, and I don't have any clear glass showing. The guy who did it took the glass out of the doors and did it all around, so I never have to worry about it peeling up or anything. It looks like the glass is factory tint.

Its the best tint out there from what I have heard Here it gets really cold like -40 degrees celcius but the guys keep tinting and no problems so you should be fine! Make sure you go to a place where they warranty their work and guarantee it for lifetime without bubbling and window tint color fading!!! RE: Tinting Questions
My wife just had mine done and the guy said that heat has nothing to do with it,but it does need direct sunlight to clear the haze and bubbles. I had a lot of haze and bunch of bubbles popped up but the more I left it in the sun, the better it got. It was a week and a half ago and now it is crystal clear. It is snowing and in the single digits here too.
