I was reading that changing from stock 5 speed to the S4's 6 speed can be done, and without TOO much trouble. But what about from tiptronic to 6 speed? I know I would need the other ECU, but what else would I need to do to swap it out nice??? (And I know I would need the shifter plate in the interior of my car to make it look nice I got a '98 2.8Q Tip

 

not gunna happen man... way too much work and money to even be close to worth it... I sugest selling your car and buying a different one

Well, it was worth a shot, thanks for your help...but I think I'll stick with the tip...I get lazy sometimes, and it's nice with the girlfriend in the passanger seat...if you know what I mean

what about throwing a 6 speed from a 2.0t or a s4 into a b5? is it possible? practical?
