Default tip

I have a 02 a4 3.0 and use tip alot. I have learned that a chip on a turbo increases timing on the turbo and shifting with tip. If i get a chip for my car, will it increase timing on the tiptronic? Iff so, will the difference be noticable?

You may be confused. Which chip are you talking about buying? A tip chip or a ECU chip?

I have a question while this thread is here...does a Tip chip only improve Tiptronic shifting or will it also benefit normal automatic use as well?
