yea i hear that.. only 2 places work on audi's.. SPeed-Tech.. and VW dealer.. but the VW dealer cant order parts.. wtf? LOL hopefully i can find somoene who will.. hell even the forein european car fix it places wont touch it.

Anyway, disco sorry to hear about your tranny. It's going to be hard to find a good place where you live so you might just have to bite the bullet if it something you cant fix yourself. I guess I 1-up you again haha, theres a few places around here. But serioiusly, when you go to get your second opinion ask them how much it would be for them to just replace it instead of rebuilding it. I've been through this before and it ended up costing me 1,200 to rebuild an auto tranny on just a chevy at a reputable shop. Did that other shop charge you anything for having your car there a few days?

 

its going to the VW dealer tomorrow morning. Nope i didnt pay anything. I told them they suck andi should call the BBB but whatever hopefully the passat will have some interchangeable parts..

 

bumpity bump.. Took it to VW dealer yesterday morning and about 545pm est they rang.. Turns out my transmission is in perfect condition, as for 4motion. Turned out to be the transmission oil pump in the block. 5 hours of labor @ 89.00/hr. + parts.. this should be fun. Hopefully she will be ready mid-week.
