I have a silver 2003 A4 1.8T and I'm thinking about getting ASA AR1 18 X 8 rims. I've been hearing that a 35mm offset and 5 X 112 bolt pattern is the way to go. In terms of tires, somebody recommended the Avon Summer Performance tires in 235/40/18. From what I can tell, these look like great tires for their price. I also looked at the BFGoodrich T/A KDW-2 in the same size. Although they are more expensive, they look like they're really good tires. Now for the questions... 1)Which would look better on the wheel? 2)If I use these for everyday use (I drive pretty easy), will I see a big difference between the two tires? 3)Which tire would you recommend? the bf goodrich will look better on the wheel -- I swear looks is what sells that tire!
if you don't drive like a madman... the avons will be better for you
