Tire questions and problems
I have a set of 18'' rims with 235/35 R18 tires with wheel spacers on my 2000 audi tt... when i first put them on there was a bit of rubing and there still is when i turn cut the wheel all the way. i recently had a rieger lip kit put on and the car still isnt as low as i want it to be (stock springs and shocks) when i put the stock fat fives on the car is as low as i want it to be, but with the bigger rims the car is too high, is there any way to correct this problem, or what is the best course of action... im considering lowering springs because most of the rubing is on the sides of the wheel well and not the top (which i dont friggen understand) and maybe with a stiffer set i wont have problems.... the whole thing doesnt make sense to me... HELP

springs are the only way to solve it or slimmer tires. The problem is that you are a complete inch bigger so half inch on every part of the circle. So with bigger rims and close to same size tires your going to be ridding a half inch higher.

My mistake on the original posting guys my tires are Hankook ventus 235/45ZR18 W98 The tires have a width of about 9' on all four... my spacers push it out 1'25 inches and the offset is positive, but only maybe 25mm ....
Thanks alot for the feedback so far

Not sure on the offset or width but I think 235/45R18 is larger (about an inch) than stock wheels. I think my stock 6 spokes were 225/45R17 and I got some 225/35R18. Unless you are stretching them over some pretty wide rims, they are bigger than stock.
