whats the widest tire i can have on my b5?

i already got coilovers set at 1.5"drop in the back and 1.5"drop in the front

 

how big and wide are your wheels

 

i was gonna get tires first, then fit my wheels to em.. my tires are 205's now, but i wanna go wider

 

you can probably go all the way to 235s in the rear...maybe 225 in the front...215s up front would definitely fit

 

225 and 235 will fit up front I think... all the aftermarket wheel pkg's for our cars come with 225/40/18's... and 90% of the cars that get those packages are lowered... and a 1.5" drop is nothing wild. I'm sure you could go 235 up front. The b6 comes stock with 235/45/17's, and those wheels fit onto a lowered b5.
