Is anyone running 235/45/17 tires on 17 inch wheels?

I currently have 225/45/17 and would like to know if I can go slightly wider on the same wheels.

Anyone running this size?

Wow, no one with 235 or larger on 17's?

I guess I'll be the first then. Or is everyone else running 225? Maybe the 235's are slightly to big? They do have the size available, soI am sure it will fit the wheel.

I have 225's on my 16s. You'll be fine on 235's.That is a common width on 18's and 19's..

225's on my 17's.. i could run 235's without a problem

ya 235 are fine you can run 245 with no prob wither

Changing you section width 225 to 235 will change the tire diameter therefore effecting your speedo. If my calculations are correct when the speedo says 75 you would be doing 76.

My '03 Sport has 235/45/17's on it.
