Default Too debadge . . . ?

I'm getting my new shoes today, hyper black TSW Thruxton 18" wrapped Toyo T1R, and I'm seriously considering debadging the trunk . . .

Do you think I should or shouldnt?

I had my last A4 debadged whenI had it repainted, soI have never actually done it myself. . . anyone have a good DIY or any tips? I knowit will leave a lot of sticky residue, what shouldI use to remove it without damage to the paint?

THANKS!

Heat it up with a hair dryer and use floss to get them off.. Then use some goo gone to get the residue off. Since its a older car the paint around it will most likely be faded leaving darker paint where the badges were, if so just polish and wax it. IMO dont do it I did mine and the rings just dont look right back there anymore.

At first I was worried that I wasnt going to get the fade to go away but you have to just work hard on it. I used Goof off to remove the adhesiveafter after heating up and fish lining it. After that lots of scratch/swirl remover then coats of wax

end result, clean on a 5year old dark car

Debadge it. Keep the rings. I worked as a detailer at a dealership and we used a 3M adhesive remover, it was the BEST. I highly recommend it if you can find it. Other than that, follow the other people instructions using a heat gun [or hair dryer] and floss. If the paint is faded a little hand buffing with Mequiers Stratch X and then a layer of polis should take care of it completely.
