In the words of a certain AF member, "you need to debadge it right quick, paint your lowers, add chrome mirror caps, and get an RS4 grill. then people will be telling you all the time how HOTT your car is and they will want to race you."

But I would say go for it. I'm contemplating doing the same mod myself, but with an 11yr old car I don't know how bad the fade will be and if it will be fixable.
