Well ive been looking for an A4 now for a few weeks cause i finaly have close to enough money for it and i found a 99.5 1.8 quattro with 172,000 and i got the price down to 7 but told him it was still too much but he wants me to go down there tomorrow to work a deal, i was just wondering if like 6 grand or so would be a good deal with the amount of miles it has. It has a new clutch and water pump and a perfect interior. any thoughts to help with my decision would be great.

 

heh id pay 5 at the most for something with that many miles. i got the exact same car w/ 92k miles for 7.2

7 grand for a 172k hell no! I think you can do alot better. I wouldn't go above 5 grand either.

 

that is an INSANE amount of miles for that price. look around more!!
