Ok, since im starting to look around the forums, im seeing a lot of different mods for the B6's.
I have a 2002 A4, and im already planning on getting my lowers painted.

What are your top 5 recommended mods for this car type? I know there isn't a whole lot to do to the engine, and i wouldn't really want to do anything that voids any warranties.

exhaust, chip, and suspension is what i'd do.

 

Painted Lowers, Suspension, Intake, Exhaust, and.... TINT!

Since you have e V6, Thats the route I would take.. in what order??

1) Painted Lowers (Since you are already doing that)
2) Tint
3) Suspension
4) Exhaust
5) Intake... maybe something else...

I dont believe those items will void any warrenties... maybe the intake.. but other than that.

Oh, one more thing. If your car doesn't have the sport pkg change the rims.

 

Yeah, i would change the rims, but thats something that can get very expensive. Plus, since my sister likes to steal my car, I don't want to spend money on rims and have her scuff them on something. But its still a posibillity.

I think i am getting 15% tint, although its illegal in my state, what can the cops do, right?

As for suspension and exhaust? I have no idea what to look for. Some of my friends have magnaflow, but it sounds obnoxious and cheap to me, so let me know what you guys have heard good things about. All i know is coilovers are very expensive.

Haha, yeah. Plus, i dont hate the look of the stock rims, they're just a little......small.

Also, when lowers get painted, will they have the same shine as the rest of the car?

 

yea, they *should* match the car assuming they do it right....check out AWE and ECS for exhaust...though depending on your dealer it might void the warranty. Check with them first to see what will void it.
