I posted this under the allroad section without a response so I thought I would ask here...My MPG suffers as I get to about 80mph due to such high engine revs at that speed. It seems the engine makes enough tourque to pull the car at 3000 revs or a bit less buit uses 3500 or so to go at 80mph or a bit more. At 70 mph I get about 23 to 24mpg, but at 80 it drops to 19 or less.

My questions is, can I add a taller gear? Where could I find one?
