I have an 04 quattro tip. with 10k miles. Today when I was going to lunch, I gave it some gas and I began creeping (about 5 mph)but the rpms ran up to about 4k. I put the car in neutral and tried again. Same results. I then threw it into tip. mode and manually shifted to second and didn't have any more problems till I was headed back home at the end of the day. Same problem, fixed the same way. My car is still under warranty, so it's about to go to the shop, I just wanted to know if anyone had any clue what the deal is with my car or any possible quick fixes

 

take it in sounds like it's slipping but i am not sure about cvt's.

 

Its a tip , not a cvt.
Not sure man , take it to your dealer asap!
