tranny fluid

do you guys remember were the fill hole is on the tranny, i was under the car last night changeing the gas filter( pain in the butt) and i am not sure were i would fill it at. thanks

its the large plug on the rear end of the tranny pan. it is 17mm hex. when u drop the pan ull see exactly how u will fill it.

so the fill is on the rear of the tranny pan? that doesn't sound right but i will find out this friday when i get rest of the fluid.

Need to do my fuel filter. Why was it a pain in the butt? Any tips?

there is a write up on it which helped alot but even with the tank strap (2) off the tank didn't move much, i had to use a pry bar to get it low enough so i can get to the screw, when i finally was able to get the key in with a pair of channellocks to turn it, the nut in the back was spinning with it do to rust, i ended up cutting the bracket with a saw saw blade to get the filter out, after that it was easy.

Mine is (1996 2.8Q 01V automatic)

the tranny might be different on the 2.8 compare to the 1.8t. i will look again when i am under there
