ok hello everyone, I have a 2001 a4 2.8L with the tiptronic auto quattro 83k. I just got the car 2 weeks ago and my brother was going to change the oil on it for me,
well needless to say he pulled the tranny drain plug and not the oil pan :-(. not knowing that we took the car for a drive and noticed the tranny acting funny. took it
back home, only drove it 2-3 miles. figured out what happened and refilled the tranny with the fluid that was removed, drove the car again all seemed well until today
when i am driving at a crusing speed not under power just cruising at about 25 the tach will flutter just a bit and the tranny will slip slightly, very slightly almost not
noticeable. so my question is it seems to me that it is acting like its a little low, needing help with some insight, is the tranny toast, do I just need to add some fluid, not
sure. and no I am not driving it right now until I find out more whats going on. PLEASE HELP!!
