so i am so damn confused as to where the hell the check fluid level stick is on my damn car! 02 a4 TIPtronic. i want to change it or at least see if it needs to be changed. can someone help me out thanks if at all possible could i get a picture? thanks

 

there is no check level stick......the tiptronic is a seald trans(audi says it is lifetime fulid but that is B.S.) how many miles do you have? is there somthing wrong with ur trans??

 

thats kind of odd LIFETIME? well i have 70100 miles and am getting a little nervous about not doing some maintenance, getting taxe return and am loading it into the car.. thanks for the info do you think it will help to change it?

 

is there an audi/vw shop near u?

 

I have 100K mi. on my tip with origonal fluid. Still running fine.

 

really 100k thats pretty good i guess. and no actually there is no audi shop near me its in the next city. unfortunately i have to use sears and brakes plus to change my oil. but i do use full synthetic and a k&n filter every 3000k just to be safe. thanks guys for all your help.

 

i had about 105 k on my tip when i got it changed, it slipped and didnt shift rite b4 i got it changed. now its like a new trans.........i think i paid around 200 dollars to get it changed

 

oooooh yea the life time fluid stuff is BS. get it changed.
