[sm=wtf.gif] Why would you think your under 200hp car could spin all four tires off the line?

yes, u hurt your clutch, if you are lucky, it will heal...

and for the other guy, your car wasnt out of power, your clutch was slipping

Thanks, wanst to sure. Just figured I over heated the clutch or went into limp mode. Seems to be fine now. I've never done that in other cars so I was a bit worried when it happened.

hahaha... yeah me and a few of my friends tried this... it doesnt work.. quattro is just too good.
rain and asphalt baby, i remember the first time i took my old audi out, i was with a buddy of mine in a theathre parking lot and tried to impress some cute girls, reved to about 4k and dumped the clutch it was right after a quick drizzle, got 4 wheel spin and tail out asmidginfor a second until the wheels gripped and flung us down the street. the clutch is probably fine just baby it for about a week like arif said and you should be fine.

If you have the power, and clutch to match, it can certainly be done... but stock 2.8 no way.. anything below a BT 1.8t probably not either....

this isnt a smoke em and burn em car! it is a luxury ride!

Yea I wont be doing any dumb shat like that again,I parked the car for a day and a half, drove my honda for the day and been driving like the old man I am and it seems fine. I have seen clutch kits for around $300 and the labor is around $300 so I may update it soon anyways. The car has 69,000 miles but was owned by an old gentleman who well maintained it, no snow in Florida so I guess the tires will never spin, broke pavement around a corner one day but the car immediatly gripped, quattro is nice...
