Turbo is in but...

I'm not sure that's the problem. How did he know to take them out? He also has a different engine.
edit- I haven't done the logs yet. I should probably do that before I rip everything out to reach the wastegate eh?

yeah get the vag-com first. then we can get your caps time and see how slow you are.
I am out of ideas to say. It's little hard without seeing it and driving it. I wish you live close by so I can come over there.
Take out your spark plugs and look at them how they are. Color says many things.
Maybe your cat is so dirty so preduse too much back pressure.
Clean your maf sensor.
make sure your fuel is set to 44.1psi
dunno...

BaconBait,
It is a good one you have. I would check westgate drive first to make sure you not pulling valve to be always open. Shafts usually have ajustment nuts. Next to check would be impeller blades for damage. Just lower the camera and take a picture of turbo inlet and see if there is any damage there (this coming from my past expiriance [:@] )
Check around exaust manifold for visible marks of gas leak. And of coure log timing, MAF,MAP and fuel.
This will be a start point...

Have you logged requested vs. actual boost? Should be block 115. Does your actual boost come close to requested?
Have you logged block 32? Is the MAF reading correctly? What is your max. grams per second reading?
Have you logged the O2 sensor block? Is it reading rich? lean?
