teh K04 is reliable with less power and the Gt28RS will be alot faster (however not that much unless u go with some other mods that support it)

I will go with GT28RS, but maybe also begin thinking about GT3071. GT3071 is really great turbo, talking from experience, but you have to go custom all the way.

 

he has an 01 so id say not to even try the k04 to many problems hell your just going to run into problems no matter what bc ur a b5 that is dbw. hope u know what ur doin

 

well im new to audi's as well as turbos......i do know a decent amount of info on mechanical stuff tho......if i knew what i was talkin about along the lines of a turbo and audi than i would have asked a question......not upset just stating the obvious

 

i thought w/ a j31/pc-16 file the ko4 could make 260 hp.....at the wheels????

 

lol, you will be lucky to make 260 to wheels with a stage 3 setup.

 

ok ill rephrase that question....what would i need to get to 3-400hp at the wheels?

 

the gt28, and a bottle...

maby u could get a new crank, with a longer stroke... but that requires a standalone...

ur looking spend 10 grand to make that kind of power, my advise, sell ur car and buy an b5 s4

twin turbo v6 = way more potential than a single turbo 4cyl.

 

luvin, it takes almost 10k(ko4s) to put a s4 in the 12s, where you can do it with 5k(stage 3) with a 1.8t.A gt28rs will get you over 300whp with some good tuning.

no not on these cars....i know its gonna take a turbo, injectors, fuel pump, clutch, chip, fmic, fuel rail, pressure regulator, exhaust, short throw shifta, and thats about all i can think of anything else i left out????
