to run a GT turbo you'll need injectors, exhaust, and a 5 bar FPR at the very least. probably a FMIC as well. oh and programming too, obviously.

know does someone have the programming for the GT ( GIAC OR APR), or do you have to tune it yourself? I was just wondering that versus buying the KO4 with GIAC or APR tuning.

all you need really to run a k04 is a chip, dv and an n75 valve upgrade
Dont upgrade your N75 for the K04, you'll spike allover. When I had my N75J in my car sounded like a superduty at 1800rpm LOUD!!!! Plus it would cause my DV to make weirn noises. Stock N75 back in and it is much better.

Some turbo options for the A4-

Chipped k03 (needs diverter valve)
K04 on base software (needs diverter valve)
K04 PC-16/J31/hammer file (needs diverter valve, fmic, intake, exhaust, fpr, injectors, and i think that's it)
BT's:
GTRS Eliminator w/ tuning (needs diverter valve, intake, fmic, exhaust, fpr, injectors, and i think that's it)
2871 eliminator w/ tuning (needs diverter valve, intake, fmic, exhaust, fpr, injectors, and i think that's it)
Full GT28RS w/ tuning (needs diverter valve, intake, fmic, exhaust, fpr, injectors, Exhaust manifold, and i think that's it)
Full GT2871RS w/ tuning (needs diverter valve, intake, fmic, exhaust, fpr, injectors, Exhaust manifold, and i think that's it)
GT3071 w/ tuning (needs diverter valve, fmic, intake, exhaust, fpr, injectors, Exhaust manifold, and i think that's it)
GT35 w/ tuning (needs diverter valve, fmic, intake, exhaust, fpr, injectors, Exhaust manifold, and i think that's it)

Then theres the T03/T04 setups, I'm not sure where they fit in. Those turbo setups are ranked from least power, to hte most power. I know mike2point0 on audizine is running 500+ whp from a GT35.

Edit-
Audiquette, BT = Big Turbo. Basically anything bigger than a K04. The GT30's and above are sometimes called B.A.T's (Big *** Turbo), too.

pyropenguin thats great info thanks.

But i still have 1 question, With the KO4 set-up you can but a ecu by GIAC or APR, etc. With the GT series is there also a GIAC,APR, etc. ecu or do you have to tune it yourself?

thanks

The basic K04 also needs a 5 bar FPR

Technically, you dont need anything for a K04, but in order to get any extra power out of it you need programming and some other stuff (depending on how aggressive the programming is).

APR has tuning for the K03 and I think the GTRS eliminator (in their Stage III kit).

GIAC has a file for the K03, K04 basic, and K04 PC-16/J31/Hammer.

For the bigger turbos, there are companies like Unitronics and CTapp, or you can get it custom tuned.

Just realized you have a B6 Audiquette, most of the stuff I've said should still apply, but there may be a little bit different.
