By the way, get a 2004. It is so much nicer then the 03. It is a six speed and is a little bit faster then any previous year A4s.

i would wait on chipping till you get the turbo. save some money and only buy software once. is it true that the Ko4 only adds like 30 hp over ko3 chipped?

Im having my chipped b5 a4 dynoed this weekend, so I should have a base number next week. But a chipped 1.8t should be around 200.... But Ive read claims of 247hp/265ft from the AWE K04 upgrade which happens to be the kit im buying. Im assuming these numbers are from a car with stock IC and injectors.

^^ those numbers are at the crank...

chipped 1.8t's pull about 150whp ... i think the stock ones pull 115whp...

granted a b6 would be a little higher than that...

if you really wanted to just do a quick upgrade you could do apr stage I+ which consists of new injectors and a new tune. which gives you 235hp/275lb-ft on 93 octane...
