Seriously... there really isn't anything you can do to directly increase the sound without doing something radical like the joke above. It's a mechanical sound due to its engineered design. Unless you find a way to get the thing closer to your ear, you're not going to get an appreciable increase in sound.

 

well ur not gonna get it any louder without doin the things i just told u. i too have an 01. it doesnt matter what year u have its a turbo

I actually bought the world's loudest whistle and attached it to my bpv once when I was bored, It was absolutly ear splittingly loud and I drove through town video taping ppl's reactions, Ill see if I can dig up the video
