Seriously... there really isn't anything you can do to directly increase the sound without doing something radical like the joke above. It's a mechanical sound due to its engineered design. Unless you find a way to get the thing closer to your ear, you're not going to get an appreciable increase in sound.

I actually bought the world's loudest whistle and attached it to my bpv once when I was bored, It was absolutly ear splittingly loud and I drove through town video taping ppl's reactions, Ill see if I can dig up the video
