I have an 03 1.8t APR 93 oct and a new 710N.
I have noticed that there is some 'stuttering' during boost around 3-4rpm ..
Like its trying to boost .. but cant ..
It doesnt happen everytime I push the throttle though.
Any ideas ?

Mine does it too, only when the motor is still cold. Ko4 and ko3 have a rough powerband. Turbos like the 28rs are alot smoother.

sparkplugs may help, if yours are old, but yeah, I think all chipped cars do that to some degree, mine is smoother with 94 octane.

 

I have been getting the same problem since I got my giac ecu upgrade. I might get it taken a look at just in case.

 

Mine kinda does that also.
