turbo is too quiet

how can i make the stock turbo louder. is there anything that i can take off of the air box that will make my turbo louder??? i love the sound of a turbo!!!

yeah i was thinkin the neuspeed one!! i hear that is a pretty good bang for the buck.

just save up more and get a APR or GIAC it will be worth

are those other brand of chips?? by the way its a 2001 non-quattro and a five speed.

yes those are other brands. neuspeed's chip is cheaper for a reason, it wont provide the gains that a chip from APR or GIAC will. when you chip your car, you will need to put a new DV (diverter valve) on as well. A 710n DV from the audi TT works fine for the added boost, however there are more expensive brands such as bailey and forge which will be able to handle more boost.

ya heres ARP, GIAC, and i think they have a REVO program for your car now
and remembver you should always upgrade your DV also

Dont get the nuespeed chip , not aggressive enough.
Go APR or GIAC.
Either one of those will add some power , and make your turbo spool louder.
If you like how its sounds stock , you'll love it when its chipped!
