hey i bought a chip it's a wautterhauer or however the heck ya spell it... i'm just using it to hold me off until i get my BIG turbo, manifold, external waste gate, greddy bov, FMIC, new ecu, and injectors which should be on their way soon... anywho does anyone have a picture of this chip so i can make sure it isn't a fake or anything... i couldn't find a site for them as you can see i can't spell it. what do you think of the chip? i'll be selling my stock ecu chipped once the new stuff gets here if anyone is interested. thanks for the newbie to the audi world help. i have a '98 a4 1.8t fwd 5spd A LOT better than my juiced neon i owned before this....

Take the oil feed line to the turbo off. That will make your turbo MUCH louder (At least for the next 30 seconds)

LOL.. nice 1... umm... i was actually thinking about this. The reason for a whine or small noise of the turbo is because of the filter. But if you are going to take off the sound filter, you have to get a new DV (blow off valve).. so that you dont kill your everything basically. But yes you can do a lot to make it louder.. easiest and best way is ECU... the ECU is my next mod. I think im sticking with GIAC ... cus if you ever plan on upgrading to the K04 turbo.. or the PES t-28... they give you 200 bucks back for your GIAC chip. Another thing you can do if you really want sound is.... umm.... make a cd with revving noises and turbo blow offs on it...lol.... people will think you have a supra... and then my son you shall be the Ultimate Rice!
