I talked to this company called AWE about the chip and turbo upgrade they had for 1400 bucks but they told me its not on sale anymore so that means I will have to just get the chip upgrade for my stock A4 Quattro but I want to hear you guys opinions on the chips you may have, what you like about it, what company is the best one to go with, and most of all did you feel a big difference when you had it installed compared to stock?

Anybody have track times with the chip and small other upgrade such as exhuast

 

What kind of A4 do you have, is it a B5 (pre 2002) or B6 (2002+)?

 

I tell everyone who is not doing a turbo to go giac, they have most aggressive stuff out. Theres a guy over on az that ran 14.2 with his ko3 and some giac software,pretty impressive.

I know, he said he was making 250hp with his ko3 and special giac software (with some obvious other goodies). Seems like a pretty cool guy, nows hes running i think a t-28s and running 12s.

 

i hate the T-28. its so small i have a hard time believing it can make all that power. My Z has T-28's

 

No, sorry. When i said t 28s i meant t 28 serios, i forget which one he siad.

 

GT28RS. most likley. this turbo makes serious horsepower.

 

still tho, a 14.2 with a ko3, that guy needs some props if he did that.
