ya i was just trying to point out that I didnt say 3" was too big for a 1.8t, but that 3" was too big for th k03 turbo that comes stock on the 1.8t.


Go with either 2.5" or 2.75"
I have a 3" test pipe with 2.75" back piping with no problems. A 1/4 of an inch makes a big difference believe it or not.

 

Oh i see now. I think i am going to go with the 2.75". and i do plan on doing the test pipe soon after so when all is said and done it should be awsome.

Thanks man! yours ain't so bad either. I like the headrest camera mount you have. where did you get yours? i got mine from ecs but it was a little pricey. works great though.

 

Woah you must be doing to serious thread digging... I made the headrest mount out of a cheapo tri pod. It serves its purpose, though I have yet to actually use it! Ill be going to the track in a couple weeksand it will see some action then. Its sturdy though.

 

I just looked at your photo album. As long as it woorks it's worth the mod!
