its looks fishy, i think they take the K03 then Fully Ported and Polished Turbine Housing and upgrade the Compressor Wheel
look how its says be upgraded to a K04-015 (Part #: 5304 988 0015) spec for additional $100

its upgraded to a k04 Spec dopnt mean ur getting a k04

edit: ok did a little searching around the site and i think panda is right. on the top if you click on turbo upgrades it says they can swap out the k03 compressor wheel for the k04 one and they never list the k04 as a seperate turbo like they do with all the other ones. still the same as a k04 right?

 

Well the k04 is basically a k03 anyway right? Just different compressor wheel and ported w/differnt # stamped on it?. Doesnt the k04 have the k03 housing no matter what or where you get it from???

 

Yeah....that still seems like a deal to me.
Not sure why porting to the K04 spec would be any different or less reliable than a built K04 in original state.

I might be jumping on it by the end of this week. But Id have to go on my GIAC k03 software for a while before upgrading to J31 and i dont know how i feel about that. I guess I need to search [&:]
