haha i remember when i was in your same shoes. although back then you were already talking about the K04... you just need to do it man, as much as people say you will get sick of the k04, i love mine and its been great so far. I dont have the J31 file but i find it pointless from me because if i am going to spend money on a fmic, injectors, and new ecu i am going to go bt, but hey man you need to do it, you wont regret it.
