You can get some good sound just from upgrading to some nice mids. You could also go with a 10 inch sub and get some really good sound out of it.

Yeah i was thinking of upgrading my stock speakers with infinity's or something like them
and later getting a 10" sub in the trunk directectly behind the back seat armrest cutting
out the ski bag and fabbing a black metal mesh backed with black clothe. I want bump
for me not the other 50 cars surrounding me! My speakers are fine but my loud heavy
metal is going to kill them and they distort when Arch Enemy is cranked.

Do some MB Quarts for your mids and a ten in the trunk. Will be just loud enough for you to hear but won't rattle your car and make a crap noise or anything. I love MB Quarts.

I love MB Quarts.
Me too!

Seriously though, they're awesome.

That really doesn't solve the cheap part of the problem though. If you want to show off, there's no good cheap solution. If you want it to sound good with a little more bump, you could try the JL stealthbox.

I've never heard one of the Stealth Boxes before, but I heard they are pretty sweet.

I would recommend upgrading the stock deck to pioneer and getting a cheap rockford sub. the upgraded deck is key as it will push about twice as much power to your speakers as the stock one does now.

i agree replace the deck first that is the brain of the operations. and yes the stealth boxs are sweet. they are worth every penny that they cost and they do cost a couple of pennies, but i have never heard one that was not worth it def better then bazokaa tubes[:'(]. or if you are lookin cheaper go with like a single 10 in a ported box. not a lot of space being takin up and alot better then bazokaa tube.
